DogCraze is a small dog blog run by a small team of dog owners and writers. We started it because most of what we read about dogs online was either too vague to use or written by someone who had clearly never cleaned up after a puppy at 3 a.m.

So we write the kind of thing we wanted to find. Plain advice, tested on real dogs, with the odd story thrown in because living with dogs is funny a lot of the time.

Who we write for

Ordinary dog owners. First-timers who just brought home a rescue and have no idea why it won’t eat. People on their third Labrador who want a second opinion on joint supplements. Anyone who has stood in the pet food aisle reading labels for twenty minutes.

You don’t need to be an expert to read DogCraze. We try hard not to write like one either.

What we cover

How we write

We keep things practical. If a tip doesn’t work for an actual dog in an actual house, it doesn’t go in.

Health and care articles are checked against mainstream veterinary guidance before we publish them, and we update older posts when that guidance changes. We don’t make up statistics or quote experts we haven’t spoken to.

One thing we want to be clear about. DogCraze is not a substitute for a vet. We can help you understand what might be going on and what questions to ask, but only a qualified veterinarian who has examined your dog can diagnose or treat it. If your dog is unwell, call your vet first and read us later.

Get in touch

We like hearing from readers. Story ideas, corrections, questions, a photo of your dog doing something ridiculous, all welcome. You can email us at [dc_email] or use the form on our Contact Us page.

Thanks for reading. Give your dog a scratch behind the ears from us.
